Our primary focus is on recreational soccer. This dedication allows us to operate independently, ensuring recreational soccer receives the support it needs and the respect it deserves.

I founded PENN Athletics Club in 2015 with a mission to foster youth development through high-quality sports programs. Today, PENN is one of Pennsylvania's largest recreational soccer leagues with over 2,500 players this past year. This growth stands in contrast to a 20% decline in overall rec soccer participation in Pennsylvania over the same period—a trend I attribute to a persistent lack of quality options that causes players to lose interest.

Introducing the US REC Soccer League

To address this challenge, we have structurally separated The Club (focused on player development and team formation) from The League (focused on scheduling and competition). This strategic separation led to the formation of the US REC Soccer League ("US REC").

US REC was created to offer a superior recreational soccer experience built on a fundamental commitment to Respecting the Game. This commitment means strict adherence to core rules and standards, including:

• No playing down in age groups.

• Strict enforcement of roster maximums.

• Referees for all age groups.

• Properly prepared fields.

• Verification of all team rosters.

We invite your club to enter its teams into our independent recreational soccer league. By working together, we can build a recreational soccer league that is bigger, better, and more enjoyable than any single club could achieve alone.
